These are first die cast cars ever made for the Kentucky Derby Festival. Like the first Pegasus Pin, they will be highly collectible. They are 100% die cast metal and limited to 5,000 made. No more of this design or color scheme will be made after these are gone. This car has the official Kentucky Derby Festival 2000 logo and features opening hood and real rubber tires. Each car is packaged on a blister card with custom artwork as shown in the photos above. The first official Derby Festival car was the '73 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. The first Derby Festival Pegasus Pin was made in 1973. Secretariat won the Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown in 1973.
